Another year, quite literally, in the books!
And thus concludes year 12 of sampling Allium tricoccum, our beloved wild leek and favorite data collection experience all year long. Thanks to all those who helped, you were paid in cool temperatures, gentle breezes, amazing vistas, lovely spring ephemerals just greeting the new year, and some of you actually received american dollars! Perhaps we will again have the pleasure of another spring sampling? In the meantime, take comfort remembering those steep mountain coves and refreshing streams while at work in the hot, humid longleaf pine forests of the south.
